National Capital Individualized Funding Workfest!

In conjunction with The Individualized Funding Coalition For Ontario. The Coalition has inspired "Workfests" all across Ontario to raise awareness of the need for Individualized Funding as an option for people with disabilities.
Lifetime Networks Ottawa , in partnership with other parent driven organizations, is hosting the first National Capital Individualized Funding Workfest!
And we want you to join us!
The workshop runs from 9:30am to 5pm,costs $20 per person.
Find out all about the potential benefits of Individualized funding and learn how you can put together the necessary information to make an application . Connect with other parents,hear from some who already receive Individualized funding, receive planning tools and fresh ideas! Dont miss it!
The Workshop is set for the RA Center, 2451 Riverside Drive, in Court Side B room. Lots of parking, a lunch and a special workbook is included in the price!

Securing a future plan ensuring the safety and well being of your loved one with a disability is essential for real peace of mind. This workshop series is based on two publications (copies will be given to you at the the first workshop)

A Future Planning Workbook -- An LNO publication
The topics covered will support you while you answer the most difficult questions you may face with regards to your loved one.-"who will care for him/her the way I do? How can I be sure she/he will be safe? What can I do to sustain his /her happiness?". There are six sections in this workshop series:

Clarifying Your Vision
Building Relationships
Controlling the Home Environment
Part 2 "The Matter"
Preparing for Decision Making
Developing Your Will & Estate Plan
Securing Your Plan
Presentors will include Joy Ramjitsingh (our facilitator co-ordinator), Family members, Facilitators, Network Members, Focus People, Board Members, Guest Financial Planners and Guest Lawyers.
The workshops take place in two parts, held in the board room at the LNO office: 406-1390 Prince of Wales Dr.

The cost is: $40 for non-members, $30 for 2005 Members of LNO
