This comprehensive book is the guide to what we do at LNO.  It deals in depth with each of the steps to help families secure a good life. 

A Future Planning Workbook

Since most of our publications come from PLAN, they are specific to BC legislation.  A Future Planning Workbook was researched and published by LNO in 2003 as a way for residents of Ontario to be aware of the specific rules and regulations in our province's disability legislation. Available both in English and French.

This is a condensed worksheet-based version of A Good Life.  We use this book in our workshop series-it seems to be the most user-friendly and focused version of any of the publications available from PLAN. 

Un plan d'avenir personnalisé en six étapes à l'intention des personnes handicapées. Au moins deux émotions devraient vous inspirer à choisir En toute sécurité. La première est l'amour. La deuxième, la peur. Comme des centaines de parents d'enfants handicapés, vous n'êtes pas un cas isolé. Vous voulez mettre vos affaires en ordre avant de mourir. This is a small booklet focused on sharing stories from support network models across the country.  It was produced by the PLAN Institute and funded by Social Development Canada.  It is a great resource fro facilitators and families building networks.

Peace of Mind - CD ROM

This CD ROM is essentially the updated version of A Good Life. It's very involved but easy to use.  The video recordings and photos help families feel comfortable about the subject matter and walk them through the worksheets included in the format.  This is an ideal way to complete a future plan.
